JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for service delivery, fundraising and external relations. Serve as the principal Golden Rainbow leader in the community, leading teams in fundraising, service delivery, and partnerships. Accountable for achieving performance targets including fundraising/revenue, expense and service delivery. Serve as chief fundraiser managing employees and volunteers to meet assigned revenue targets. Lead teams that enable housing and access to resources for those living with HIV/AIDS, lead the community in education and prevention, and serve as a community convener/collaborator. Ensure Golden Rainbow is recognized as the most trusted, efficient, and effective HIV/AIDs service agency. Engage volunteers to achieve service delivery and fundraising objective. Budget Size: $478,300 (FY14)
Paid Staff: Two FTE (including the Executive Director)
What We Do: Golden Rainbow has a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors, only two paid employees, and is dedicated to providing effective, efficient, quality service. Currently the organization owns two four-plexes, a three-bedroom home and a two-bedroom townhome. This provides low cost shelter to adults and families with children living with HIV/AIDS. Golden Rainbow is also able to provide emergency financial assistance in the form of payments for medications, rent, utilities, insurance co-payments, and any other assistance not currently provided by another agency. This is all done by the funds raised with the "Ribbon of Life" show, select government funds, corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, private donations, other creative fundraising strategies, and a wealth of hundreds of volunteers.
