Golden Rainbow provides housing, education and direct
financial assistance to men, women and childreN
living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada.
Prior to Ribbon of Life® 2016, Choreographer Miguel Perez decided to create a contemporary dance piece that told the life story of 6 different people with HIV/AIDS. He asked filmmakers Cameron McKinlay and Tina Cannon to shoot an interview with the dancers and Golden Rainbow clients to be used for inspiration - and the result is pure love.
Each year, over 750 people receive services through Golden Rainbow.
Thousands Throughout our 31 year Mission.
Golden Rainbow Reimagined is a plan to transform the delivery of housing and services for Southern Nevada people living with HIV/AIDS. Please join us in this community-wide effort as we raise the necessary funds to provide additional housing units in this new era of disease management.
Golden Rainbow offers several affordable housing programs that provide long-term and transitional housing support for people living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada. This includes emergency rental payment and relocation and move-in assistance.
This year’s theme is “Reimagined” and the show will feature classic music and dance numbers reimagined for this one-day-only performance. The production promises to be awe-inspiring with over 1200 patrons attending and tickets sure to sell out! This popular fundraiser is the primary source of funding for many of our programs and remains one of the largest and most unique shows of its kind in Nevada.
Golden Rainbow is pleased to offer the ENHANCE Wellness Series. We believe that a healthy balanced approach to wellness includes addressing the mind, body and spirit. These interactive group activities are designed to encourage healthy living through nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, meditation, yoga and more.
